About MEDUSA
The overarching goal of the MEDUSA project is to develop a multi-megawatt medium voltage based fast charging infrastructure.
This supports reduced charging time for busses, heavy duty vehicles, trucks and vans. The integration of renewable energy system and DC-related technology such as solar and battery storage systems, are anticipated to support grid interoperability and optimize CO2 emissions during charging events.
The ambitious goal of MEDUSA phase 1 project is the conceptualization and laboratory proof of concept using hardware in the loop methods to demonstrate the functionality of the derived solution.
